Clothing wear tracker

Worn once.
Or ten times?

WearStreak is a simple clothing wear tracker. A log for the clothes you own: tap wear when you wear it, wash when you wash it.

Why this exists

It started with my hoodies.

I have a healthy hoodie addiction, and I cycle through them. With one hoodie I might have kept track. With a whole rotation I couldn't. Same with the evening gym pants or the dress shirt from a lunch out. I was washing some too often and grabbing others without realizing how many wears they already had.

So I started keeping count.

How it works

Tap wear. Tap wash.

Add the things you want to track, once. When you put something on, tap wear. The count goes up. When you throw it in the wash, tap wash. The count resets. After a couple of weeks you stop overwashing the things you barely wore, and stop second-guessing the ones you did.

Cost per wear

Cheaper every wear.

Record what you paid and every item shows its cost per wear. The one you actually reach for keeps getting cheaper with each wear, while the bargain you never touch never pays itself off. “Was it worth it?” stops being a guess.

By design

Quietly useful.

No reminders, no laundry recommendations, nothing to keep up with. The app counts and gets out of the way. The numbers do the talking.

Common questions

Things people ask.

What does WearStreak actually do?

It tracks wears and washes per item. You add the things you want to track, tap wear when you put something on, tap wash when you do laundry. The count goes up, the count resets, and you get useful numbers like cost per wear. That is the whole app.

How long does logging a wear take?

A couple of taps when you change clothes, a couple more when you start a load of laundry. A few seconds. The app is designed to add to your routine without feeling like a chore.

Does it track cost per wear?

Yes, per item. Add what you paid for something and its detail page shows the cost per wear, the price divided by total wears. The number drops every time you log a wear, so the more you wear it the cheaper it gets. Items without a price still work, you just do not see the stat.

Is there a streak to maintain?

No, despite the name. WearStreak refers to your clothes' wear streak, their count since the last wash, not your behavior. There are no nudges, reminders, or notifications.

Is it free?

Free for up to 15 items, enough for a starter rotation. Pro removes the limit for CA$2.99 a month, or CA$24.99 a year. Prices are in Canadian dollars.

Is it useful if I work from home?

Yes, especially. Light wears feel like they barely happened and slip out of memory, which is exactly when you overwash. A tap logs the wear no matter how light it felt, so the count stays honest and the guessing stops.
